Job Description:

Role Purpose:

The Business Development – Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing the HPC (High Performance Computing) & Networking Business in the regions allotted. The incumbent will closely work with the Channel and Account teams to ensure market coverage and product/ solution positioning. He/ She will also develop the market by appointing new partners and work closely with the pre-sales team to provide technically and a commercially feasible proposal to clients in the respective region. Should able to meet team targets.

Role Description:

  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies deal requirements potential and financials evaluating options, resolving internal priorities and estimating customers ' needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts Examining risks and potentials integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different solution requests from the customer in line with company's offerings, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional training and doing OEMs sales certifications.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different solution requests from the customer, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Develops good relation and faith with the customer by understanding pain points and suggesting solutions at a broad level in line with our offerings. Also suggesting Market requirement for new offerings keeping ROI in mind.
  • Build and manage partner/vendor relationships. 
  • Responsible for managing customer escalations, customer problems, account conflicts and participate in important negotiations with key customers.
