ARCON tours in the Miiddle East

ARCON concluded a highly successful tour in the Middle-East last week. It partnered with IDC to take part in three back-to-back Information Security events.

Our VP, Business Development, Sunil Potdar, represented ARCON and participated in roadshows that were held in Abu Dhabi, Muscat, and Amman.

Information Security heads from several large enterprises were present during the roadshows. The trip allowed us to understand many cyber, digital and Information Security challenges faced by today’s enterprises.  Monitoring and controlling malicious activities around privileged accounts turned out to be one of the key challenges that keep security professionals concerned.

ARCON exhibited its highly-advanced tool, Privileged Access Management, which helps in seamless monitoring of all privileged sessions and foiling unauthorized access to critical data assets.

During the tour, ARCON also met its regional partners.

ARCON participated at the InfoSec Maestro Awards

ARCON was in Jeddah recently where we met key IT security heads from several local companies. Cybercrime has been rising thick and fast in the Middle East. Critical IT infrastructure is the backbone for any economy and enterprise. Organizations not just remain vulnerable to external malefactors but internal frauds can also wreak havoc. It’s about time that firms automate its password management and strengthen access control. We showcased our highly advanced Privileged Access Management (PAM) suite and Secure Configuration Management solution during the event.

ARCON recently held its IT security roadshow in Lagos, Nigeria along with its regional partner at Four Points at Sheraton.
Executives and IT infrastructure heads from several Nigerian companies attended the event, hosted by Paresh Makwana, VP Business Development-Africa.
We showcased how our highly advanced Privileged Access Management Suite can help enterprises to prevent rampant malware, phishing, insider and targeted attacks on sensitive data. Nigeria remains as the most vulnerable nation to cyber-crime in Africa. Recently, CSEAN (Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria) warned imminent cyber-attacks on Nigerian firms. Rising cyber-frauds are hurting the economy. Information Security Society of Africa-Nigeria estimates cyber-crime costs Nigeria N127 billion, annually.
