Sustainable Operations:

Energy Efficiency: We do practice usage of less energy to provide the same amount of useful output from our solutions and services. Practically, it is all about achieving the same performance while consuming fewer resources. And to do that, we design our data centers and office spaces to maximize energy efficiency. This includes using energy-efficient hardware, optimizing cooling systems, and implementing energy-saving practices.

Waste Management:

Electronic Waste: E-waste is the fastest growing solid waste worldwide, which is three times faster than the world’s population. In 2022, approximately 62 million metric tons of e-waste were produced globally, but not even 20% of that was formally collected and recycled.

We responsibly manage electronic waste through recycling programs and by following international regulations, especially the Basel Convention, that controls the transboundary movement of hazardous e-wastes and their disposal.

Material Reduction: We aim to minimize waste by reducing the use of paper and single-use plastics. Digital documentation and communication are prioritized to support that. We encourage to adopt a “buy less, use longer” mentality to ensure material reduction. We also promote durable and repairable electronic devices to extend their lifespan.

Sustainable Procurement: We always aim to promote conservation and responsible management of resources by using renewable or recycled materials wherever possible and reduce waste. It integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into an organization’s procurement processes. By considering sustainable development, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements, organizations can meet their product and service needs while positively impacting the environment, society, and the economy.

We prefer suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability, ensuring that the products and services we procure have minimal environmental impact. This waste management practice helps to enhance resource efficiency and contribute to a greener future.

Environmental Education and Awareness:

Employee Training: Employee training in environmental education and awareness is extremely crucial for fostering sustainability within an organization. We, at ARCON, provide regular training on environmental best practices to every employee. It includes energy-saving tips, waste reduction techniques, and sustainable commuting options.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery or corruption and report suspicious activities if we come across anything similar.
